Held at the Safety Harbor Library
Board members present
Jason Swierk (President)
Jack Keuckler (Vice-President)
Lori Maier (Treasurer)
New board mission and goals were discussed. (Both can be viewed under the resources link on this website)
FINANCIAL REPORT / DUES
HOA finances were shared with the residents as well as information related to the dues collection process. (For privacy reasons HOA finances are not published on the website. Residents can use the contact form to request any information).
The HOA continues to provide lawn service along Philippe Pkwy when the grass gets too high. Maintenance of this area is the responsibility of Florida DOT, but at times we are forced to keep the grass to an acceptable level on our own.
MAIN ENTRANCE SIGN
The main entrance sign has been repaired, repainted and the web address has been added to provide any potential residents with a way to get more information on the neighborhood.
The entire length of the Philippe fence line has been repaired and repainted giving us a consistent look for the exterior of the neighborhood. The Board will be moving forward for plans to tackle the Fairview Fence at a later date.
The planters throughout the neighborhood have long been an issue. They are of inconsistent design, material and condition with many in a severe state of disrepair due to the size of the trees in them. Our biggest challenge with the planters is that they are the responsibility of the city and they have shown a limited desire to work with us to repair them or replace them with something more appropriate. The HOA will continue to work with the city to try and improve the planters.
An update was given on the status of the Neighborhood Watch program
One of the main focuses of the meeting was to increase the number of volunteers for the HOA. New positions were also created and a call for new Board members made. (See the positions section of this website for details on the HOA volunteer positions and duties)
